The purpose of this post is to keep a timeline of the new expungement laws in Maryland and how they effect your rights. The current plan is to update this post semi-annually to check for new laws. New rules are generally mean more crimes qualify for expungement!
As of October 1st, 2018 new expungement laws in Maryland allow for the expungement of these new felonies:

As of October 2017, new expungement laws were passed allowing for the expungement of misdemeanors and felonies in Maryland even if you were found guilty.
For misdemeanors the wait period is generally 10 years after the date of disposition. For felonies the wait period is generally 15 years. Do not hesitate to contact us to see if your case qualifies for expungement!
